01 CLK iPod Hookup
 

Hi,

I have a 01 CLK55 with navigation. I want to hookup my iPod to the nav so that I can see the songs that are playing on the nav screen. I have talked to the local auto audio shop and they said that the only option for me was to buy an electronic device called nav-tv. They told me that it would cost $1200. Is that a good way to connect it?

I dont want to use the FM transmitter kit that is available for $20 because it does not sound all that good and I cannot see the songs being played on the nav screen either.

Are there any other options?
