Default Upgrade Wheels

I ordered a 2022 GLE450 4Matic with 19 in wheels. I wish I had gotten 20 or 21 inch wheels so I could run bigger tires. What would I need to change to upgrade the wheels? It seems the fender flares are different, are they bolt on?

It would probably be beneficial to consult a service advisor at your local Benz dealer. It depends on a lot of things like your suspension and whether or not your vehicle has 4Matic. Are your tires staggered fit, or are the front and rear sizes the exact same? If you don't want to bring it to the dealer or a European Specialty shop and prefer DIY, then you'll need to do some serious tire research. There is a Tire Rim Calculator tool at the top of this forum under Tools.

Very likely they are not bolt on. I don't think anything on a Mercedes-Benz is bolt-on. Attachment clips may be different shape or in different places, most likely a different part number entirely.

Honestly If I were you I would abandon the whole idea of getting new rims on this car -- UNLESS money is not a problem for you. If you have a significant excess of income and/or "play-money" then yeah just bring it to the dealer and ask them exactly what needs to be done for your vision of your car to be complete. I'm sure they'll be happy to work with you, considering this is going to cost you a huge amount of money to accomplish, even if you were to try to DIY. Mercedes Rims are not cheap, nor are tires that go on those size rims. Assuming you don't need to modify suspension or body, this will still be expensive.

It would probably be beneficial to chat with a service advisor at your local Benz dealer.
