Hi,
I just picked up a 2007 A170 only yesterday used from a car dealer. My mate just asked me where the cloth under the bonnet is...i said i have no idea. i didnt even know there should have been cloth there. So it apparently sits on top of the engine when the bonnet is closed...would you guys be kind enough to check out your A170s and tell me if it's supposed to be there. Just a little worried this used benz has been in an accident.

I think that you will find that the sound insulation is only on Diesel models and I think as an option.
