Self Servicing Mercedes A Class

Hi

I have a 4yr old Mercedes A Class A150 (new shape) and due for the B Service. However my local MB dealer has told me that the B service only includes the Engine Oil and Pollen Filter. Additionally they may need to replace the following which would be extra costs (at obvious dealer costs):

Brake Fluid
Air Filter
Dust Filter
Spark Plugs

So I am considering doing these myself before taking it to the garage for the service. I would really appreciate anyone giving me some advice on on what is simple and any resources I could look at first. I'm happy to buy a service manual if one exists as well if it helps.

Thanks very much for any help!

The GL class in mercedes is very nice. It is very reliable and a great suv to drive.

The only problem i have is the cost of ownership for this car.
