Problems changing gear
 

I have an A Class 170d 2004 89,000 miles, serviced regularly.
I am having real problems trying to get it into gear from neutral or when tryng to change on the move. There are no warning lights on the dash.
From looking at other forums there seems to be a known problem with the A Class gearbox but that is usually with a warning light. Can anyone advise please?
