55 is far great than the 500 in E, CL, S, SL....with 302 hp the 500 is slow for a V8 because the body is so freakin' heavy....55 AMG V8 Kompressor, that's where the power is packed at...if you prefer an ultra luxury ride anddon't minditgoin' abit slower than the E 55 then you should get a CL 55(CL 55has more hp but it's a lot heavier than the E 55).......it feels like heaven in there...if you an older man, CL 500 is good enough, unless you have extra 30 grands like small changethan get the CL 55, but then again if you have 30 grands like chump change...a CL 65 should be your choice.

Hello: Just bought my 2004 CLK 500 (2-dr couple) this past Sunday and so far, THE CAR IS AWESOME! My first Benz so I can't compare it to any other Benz, but I am sold! Pewter exterior color and charcoal interior. Nav system, parking sensors, AMG wheels, 28,000 miles. Car is flawless inside and out! And with 302 HP, goes like a rocket. Hope this helps.

I just got a 2000 CL500 with 97k miles. What an awesome car. A luxury sports car. It was very reliable for the original owner and I have high hopes for the same. Always smiling when driving!!!
