"Ding" on bumps
 

2001 CL500 turned 68k miles and have noticed a "ding" sound when I go over bumps or sudden dip in road. Almost like the put-on-seat belt ding sound you hear on a plane. Car runs fine although an instant flash (unreadable) on the dash warning area. Any suggestions appreciated

I realize that this thread was started 4 years ago, but, I figured I'd post this for anyone else searching the interweb with the same problem.

My dealership missed it and ended up replacing a perfectly good reservoir tank on my S55 AMG when I took it in for fluid under the left front of the car. Ever since then, I'd get the "ding" anytime I went through a dip in the road. Replaced the accumulator and all is well.
