ABC Warning
I just acquired a 2001 CL500 with 44K miles. Car is in mint condition and I love the car. I've only had it about a month and several times the Active Body Control light comes on and then goes off
When in red the car drives terrible. What causes intermittent warnings? I assume that if I had a bad pump or leak the warning would be constant. Also, have any recalls be done on this? And lastly since I am not the original owner does Mercedes do recall work at no charge? Any input/advise is greatly appreciated. Matt in San Diego |
RE: ABC Warning
The only ABC related recall I'm aware of is to replace a hose in this system. All recall work is free regardless of who owns the vehicle. I don't know what the problem could be with your car, other than a leak in fluid, but take it in and have them check it out.You also might want to check the fluid level.
