Wiper Speed problem

Hi everyone
I have a C320 2001. The windscreen wiper speed for both positions I and II runs the wipers at the same II speed. Is anyone know what the problem is? Any help would be greatly appreciated

usually needs a new stalk switch

Thanks a lot for advice, will check with a dealer for replacment to see if that fix the problem
