Hi Guys,

i have an after market AMG looking rims that i currently have 235/40/R18 on plus 1/2" spacers in the rear. Now i need to buy new tires for my car. i want to put tires as wide as i can on these babies. does anyone know if i would have problem putting 275/35/R18 in the back and 235/40/R18 in the fronts. if so what size is the max that i could put on a C230 Kompressor Coupe not to hit the fenders?

Try sizing them at www.tirerack.com. There is a configurator there that might tell you how wide you can go.

 

i have 8" wide rims 18*8 and i can fit 235 on without spacers and a 37 offset, but i had to guard modify, i think u are pushing sh*t up hill with 275 and they would probebly rub, first see what size ur rim can handle up to, im guessing u have 8.5 rims a tire shop should know, maby 255 around wat can handle i guess, ask a tire shop i guess man, good luck :-)
