Where's the Beep??
 

Howdy folks. I'm a "newBenzer" (like a newbie-get it??:) I was a Hondar chick for nearly 22 years and bought a 2004 C230 Kompressor Sedan after being in a hit and run. I was wondering if it is equipped with chimes, chirps or beeps related to locking and unlocking the doors. Far too many times I have neglected to lock it because I'm used to hearing a beep from cars past. The dealer says it's under the convenience feature, but I haven't found it. My mechanic says he doesn't think it's equipped. How do I find out if there's a chime, chirp or a beep?? I really need my car to talk back to me, lol!! Thanks in advance guys.

Hi and thanks for the welcome!! I checked the link and wow, would I love to have THAT car. Sadly, even when I input my VIN, it comes up with features I KNOW aren't on my vehicle, so I guess the search continues?? But hey, I appreciate you taking the time to type a reply!!
