Weird Noise coming from Lower Middle Console
 

Hello everyone, I was hoping that someone can help me out with this questions. I have a 2001 c320 and it is has low mileage. Now the problem is when i stick the key into the ignition and start the car it makes a strange noise, like a small click followed by a louder click comeingfrom thelower middle console on the driver side.It also makes kind of a whining sound??...i cant describe the sound too good. It continues for about 7 or 8 times then goes away. I have no idea what this could be and was hoping someone could help me please.

footwell flaps for the climate control are broken.

ya i got same problem (Post- Cold Feet). that clicking sounds expensive, doesn't it? lol

Yeah it does, its so annoying. I was wondering what the price is to fix this problem. I also was curious to know if I left it the way it is for a little...would it then mess up other things on the car or is it very important to get it fixed right away. I hate the sound so much

My 2001 C320, same s%^*... It is annoying, A MB mecanic told me it cost +- $500 to fixe it. I don't know if is a DIY.
Anybody?
