I’ve been seriously thinking about upgrading the ambient lighting in my Mercedes C-Class W205, and wanted to hear some real-world feedback before pulling the trigger. I came across a brand called CarAktis — their kits look impressive, and the reviews seem promising, but I’d love to know how it actually holds up from people who’ve done it.

Has anyone here installed the CarAktis ambient lighting kit on their W205?

How was the installation process — DIY-friendly or better left to a pro?

Is the brightness and quality on par with the OEM system?

Any issues with fading, fitment, or app control over time?
