Default Transmission help please.

Just purchased 2003 c230 1.8. Initially transmission would only work 2-3 minutes then stop until I shut off and restarted it. I changed fluid and flushed, found oil in the plug and in the computer on passenger floor board. Replaced plug and purchased used tcm. Ran ok for 2 20 min test drives ..next day same issue but added a whining sound with increased RPMs. Took of pan again this time had cream colored sludge. I assumed radiator so I changed it out to be safe but honestly found not find leak on old one but replaced anyway. Still same issues, bought complete solenoid pack and conducter plate , reset computer again drove good for 1 day then back to my nightmare.! No metal or sludge in fluid currently, just dropped the tranny and ordered a torque converter..any advice on if it’s torque converter vs transmission or is this car just possessed lol

With everything you've described, it could be the torque converter, but there's also a chance the transmission itself has bigger problems.

The transmission itself might be the problem. Internal wear or damage could be causing these issues, so getting a new or remanufactured transmission might be your best bet. You could check out a 700r4 transmission for sale as a replacement. The 700r4 is known to be reliable and could work well for your car. After you install the new torque converter, keep an eye on how the car runs. If the issues continue, it might be time to replace the whole transmission.

I ended up having the transmission and torque converter rebuilt ..seems to be shifting fine but I’m getting MAF and camshaft sensor codes and I have replaced both twice with cheap then better brands lol . I don’t hear the supercharger and it doesn’t seem to have power but I don’t know these cars baseline..how can I check the supercharger?
