Default Transmission Fluid

My 99 C280 has the sealed for life 5 speed automatic. That is no change of transmission fluid is required. I have been told to have it changed anyway, some suggested mileage was every 30K, and 50K. What do you all think? Leave it or have the tranny service and at what mileage, I am a comservative driver. Never go over 100MPH.

the oil that mercedes-benz use for the transmission is not the lifetime oil... but just the ordinary ATF.

bmw use lifetime oil, and the color is green.

still changing the mb oil is good to prevent shifting problem.

the dipstick is considered now as special tool and can bought locally.

on changing the oil, you only need to put in the recommended quantity. we only use the dipstick (engine oil and ATF) for checking.
