thinking of getting a c230 or c280

Want to lease. also price wise 230 may be better but worred about its rear wheel since reas wheels are historically not good in snow and rain. Any good leasing source suggestions? and should I go for 230 or 280 (from snow perspective)?

Any help - suggestions - ideas would be greatly appreciated!

How many day's/month's will you be driving in snow? It has been my experience that rearwheel drive cars are vary managable in the snow and ice, add in ABS and traction control and I would not be too concerned.

When i got my c230K i was worried about the same thing.....rear wheels in snow and ice are horrrrrible......however, the c230K has a feature that puts the car in winter driving mode, basically what it has.......if your car is to start slipping in hazardous conditions, it will sense which wheels are in trouble, and it will automatically adjust speeds or braking in whichever wheel necessarry to stop the slipping. This will save ur ass from losing control of your car

RE: thinking of getting a c230 or c280

I've driven rear wheel drive cars for 45 years through Wisconsin winters (lots of ice/snow) and have found that there are three things that are a must.
#1 Blizzak (type) tires on all four corners.
#2 A couple 70 lbs sand bags in the trunk over the rear axle.
#3 Don't drive like an idiot.
My wife drives a Volvo X/C with all season tires and I feel just as comfortable driving my c230 (rear wheel drive) with the correct winter tires etc.

Without the proper tires/weight forget it.
