I posted (4) days ago and no responses??? I must be the only one with this problem. If someone could direct me to how to remove the tailgate trim without breaking something I'll try to find the problem myself. I removed all the plastic screws and plugs but something is still holding on to the trim panels and I'm afraid to pry on the panels for fearing of breaking them. Also I see there is a TSB about this but can't get access to information on this. Very frustrating. If I can get the trim off I can then trace wiring to the switch to see if there is a connection problem or perhaps it's the switch itself...I just need to know how to remove the panels. Oh yes...I also read somewhere about SAM...what's that? Please help....thank you
