Tail light L and R warning lamp! But bulbs are fine

My warning light started flashing that the ....tail light L visit workshop and ......the tail light R visit workshop and ....then the tail light R using back up light. I checked all the bulbs and they are sound. Whats the deal with the light? Any ideas? Its an 01 C320.

The sensors will pick up any variation in voltage. I had a issue with a plate bulb and a side marker both did the same. The plate bulb eventually went out so the service rep told me the sensor will give you a heads up when the bulb is going to burn out.
