My 2000 230k shakes at start up. it evens out but doesn't disappear after warm up. no warning light like when MAS went bad..

 

weird..... mine did that tooo.... light shaking though.... and i have a 2006 c230..... well i found out mine started shaking since i havent turned on the car for like 2 weeks...

thats what i get for not driving it.... i rather drive and use the mileage on my work car.....2008 cadillac cts...

 

Found an excellant mechanic in the hatboro, pa. area. Stealership told me engine vibration was not there. Mounts were ok. that was when the car was in warranty. Just under 50,000 miles. i had the car since new. i knew it was not. vibration got worse and worse over time. even dissapeared in warmer weather. i went to "Dinardo's auto repair" out of desperation. Told me engine mounts were bad and so were ball joints. car runs like new and price was less than stealership.Stealershipwas leaning towards wireing harness at about $800. totalfor joints, mounts AND new belts was 800 with tax at Dinardo's.
