Default RPM and Fuel Gage Stuck

Hi,
I have a '95 C220 and I have recently noticed while driving from Texas to New Jersey, that the RPM and the Fuel gage become stuck in colder weather (stay at zero as if the car was turned off). I have not been able to detemine at what temperature they kick back on, but they have been stuck when temperature reaches 34F or 36F. When the gages do come back on, they both kick on at the same time. Meanwhile, The temperature and the speed still work fine.

Does anyone know what this may be?

Probably is the Instrument Cluster Connectors, take the cluster out, you will find two, desconnect bouth and clean them with alcohol (poor a little drops on the female ones). DO NOT use other cleaner or solution.
Hope you resolve this problem
