Hey any of you guys seen the newer looking s-class taillights on a c-class? anyone got them on there C? I just picked up a pair for my 05 230K Seden and seems like they arent just plug and play the connection plugs are different. Can anyone help me with this? preferable a elec. diagram of the rear tailights? heres a picture of the taillamps jsut to give you guys an idea of what it looks like

 

seems it belongs to C-Class and not S-Class.

if it is, tell me your vin and the part number of that light.

 

its a aftermarket tail light for a c-class with the s-class look. i dont have the partnumber or vin nubmer but my problem is that i cant get the connection connected. i'm wondering if anyone has done this process of the 05 c-class and did some hard wiring for this install that can help me out.

robohopar, I feel your pain! I've posted a couple of questions on here and there's nothing like getting ignored or someone at least not offering to help. When you say your tail lights aren't plug and play are you saying that the plugs on them perhaps have 6 plugs instead of the standard 4? If that's the case, your new tail lights are German (European) spec - US lighting systems are different. If that's what your question is referring to or something different?

 

ya thanks a lot bro...no i found out whats up mine its a 05 not a pre 05 and down so i have a 7pin connectore and these light have a 6 pin connector...what i had to do is order the 6 pins and get a diagram of the wires and rewire them...and it will work...btw i got all this info on mbworld.org....<---awsome site if you need some detailed info...sorry to teh guys of this forum...not trying to flame you but when you gotta get something done you gotta get it done!!!
