Question about gas tank door and sunshade
Hi I am new here and I had trouble with my gas door on my 96 c280 but I wanted to put a personal thanks out to shan as I read your reply on this post and it has solved my problem. Thanks very much Travis.

At least you are attempting this job yourself. You don't want to know what the parts and labor are at the dealership for
this one. Most people just leave it broken when they get the estimate. True. I think you are on the right track, though.
The instructions say to "push" the shade out of the rear panel. Maybe a little more force would work, just be sure you have
all the fasteners out and go for it. If the motor is dead, you'll need to shop around for one. It's gonna be pricey I'm told.
