problems with 2004 c class c230
 

my 2004 c230 sport sedan , has a problem with the cold weather . when i first start it , i get malfunctions on the screen for headlights , abs and battery / alternater . if i restart the car , all is clear on the screen . anybody know what this could be?

I would check the battery voltage. It may be dropping from the cold weather. Try a trickle charger or parking in a heated garage overnight and see if that makes the problem go away, if so, it may be time for a new battery.

put new mb battery in and still have problem

DON'T CHANGE YOUR ALTERNATOR, JUST BUY THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR FOR THE ALTERNATOR. IT IS A REALLY SMALL PIECE ON THE BACK OF THE ALTERNATOR.
