problem with wipers not working
 

I am having a problem with my wipers , they all of the sudden stopped working . fuse is ok . i closed the hood and all worked accept the interminent spot . can anyone tell me is these a relay that may be bad ?

if you have a car with the one wiper design usually the piston/shaft needs lubricated.

i have a 2004 c230 sport sedan is here a relay for the wipers , and could you tell me were to get a schematic for the cars relays (what they do?????????)

yeah there is a relay its in the driverside fuse box under the hood. but thats usually not the problem. what do you mean intermittant spot? so the wipers do wipe across the windshield a full cycle? or they stop in the middle of the glass. do they park normally? ive seen bad wiper switches/turnsignal stalk and also the motors go bad. play with the wiper switch switching from low, to high and to intermittant to check its function.

I have similar issue with 2004 C230. Wipers suddenly stopped working, none of the 3 positions work. Only the one time sweep by pressing the knob at the end of stalk works, the one used for washer fluid.
Fuse is OK, I also tried by switching the two wipers related relays with each other, didn't help. Is it the wipers motor ? Please advice how to fix?
