Hey guys,
I was driving home last night on the freeway and my car started to slow down. I put my foot on the gas and it would slow down even more. If I took my foot off the gas it would kinda surge. As I pulled over to the side of the road, all the light on the panel came on and the car died. I tried to start it, it would start after turning over 4 or 5 time. But would dies shortly after. Anyone got any ideas? I'm lost.

yes there was fuel in it.

 

Sounds like either the the catalytic converter is blocked or a fuel problem like the fuel pump or fuel filter. Either should show up with a fault code on a scanner.
