hello i am new to the forum
i have a 95 c280 an there is a wierd noise caming some where inside the dashboard
like a relay bzzzzzz.. some times it goes on for a second and then off i'ts beem 4 daysand it's driving me nuts.
anyideas?

 

I believe I have the same kind of noise in my car, although a much newer car, it sounds the same. Hard to describe here.
Mine is a very high frequency on and off noise. Hard to pinpoint. It's there with or without the A/C or heat on or off, so that
pretty much eliminates a noisy blower motor. My blower motor was replaced for another noise that drove me nuts for weeks
that was similar, so be sure and check to see if it's happening with the climate control on or off.

If anybody knows what this is, please respond. It's very annoying and dealerships/mechanics aren't all that keen on
looking for it. I don't think they have a clue on this one, but I could be wrong.

IF ITS A HIGH PITCH SOUND MORE LIKE CLICK CLICK SOUND THAN ITS A RECIRCULATION FLAP FOR HEATER ITS A BIG JOB DASH BOARD NEED TO COME OF TO REPLACE THE PART GOOD 8HRS JOB..........

 

i don't think is the heather flap. its not a high pitch sound
the noise seems like a relay or a little motor is running. the noise is on with or without the AC or heater. i tried all the AC and heater options and nothing happend.
when i turn off the car. i can hear the sound until i remove the key from the ignition.
