As I have stated previously...1994-C 220...the car is a deep red with very light beige interior. I have check the body plates and can not get a handle on paint color....the plate in the engine compartment has a slew of 3 digit numbers...none match the Mercedes color codes...any one have the answer to this??????

i am sorry raspro7, the chassis number has no datacard.

if you still have the user's manual, the datacard is attached and you can find the color code.

sometimes there is one hidden on the ceiling part inside the trunk (you have to remove the cover), or on the side cover in the trunk.

Found it with some trial and error...there is a stamped metal plate at the nose of the engine compartment...there is a series of nu,mbers...the last set on the lower right hand side(3 digits) is the color code.....it matched the code I found on a Mercedes paint suppliers chart.
