No Sound From Radio
 

Took my dash apart to fix stapper motor. No more annoying clicking!! who hoo. I put the whole dash assembly back together but now I get no sound from the radio. The radio works fine, changes channels, runs the tape deck (still haven't gotten arount to installing the CD changer). Did i forget sometime? I have the WIS here on my PC and the radio diagram shows a fiber optic cable but I don't remember hooking one up. IT that what runs the speaker? IF you looking at the back of the radio (with tape deck only) there are two cables on the right (one on top, space in middle, one on teh bottom) and the antenna and some other round metallic connector on the left. I didn't think there was a fiber optic cable becuase I didn't have the CD player but maybe I unhooked it and it slid down in the dash???

I have a 2000 c280 with the same problem. The display shows cd track, disc number and i can change the songs and discs, but it's like its on mute. I took mine out yesterday as well and everything is connected so I dont know whats going on. However, my dash is scrambled and i think it may be related, maybe the CAN system wires or something. Who knows.
