Hi. New to the forum. My wife and I just purchaed a 2005 C320 with 34,000 miles, original in-service date is July, 2005. Car appears to be well maintained and we have maintenance records for the A and B services. Car just went in for its A service. Dealer said that anti-freeze needed replacing (probably so), air filters need replacing ($150), fuel filter ($150), and spark plugs "should" be replaced for a price of $650!!!

I 'll handle the filters myself and maybe the plugs too (but I think they still have some life, have to check the manual).

My questions:

1. Where is the fuel filter located and is it a big deal to replace?
2. How about the spark plugs? Still okay in your opinion? Are they a big deal to replace?
