Hi everyone!
1999 C230 Kompressor Sport, having a problem with the little map light in the overhead console, it will not turn off, dealer says it's a relay -to clarify, they say it's an 850.00+time relay!
My guess is it's also a relay, but if you could point me to the location of it I can probably fix it or replace it with a 2 dollar relay.

Here is the link to Beckmann Technologies who specialize in rebuilding relays and control modules. If I'm correct, the part you need is $156 at Beckmann. But check it out. Sorry, I couldn't locate the relay in my rather poor manual.

This is an image from Beckmann's products page. According to the picture, the MB Convienence Relay is the on the top row, third from the left.
That would put it in the trunk.
