hey i own a 94 c280 and recently ive been having problems, when i first start the car and the engine is under 70 degrese (sp) F it stalls in reverse and is slugish until the engine is warmed up at first i thought it was a temp sensor or something but i looked under the hood and found that one of my vaccume distrubtor wires was unpluged, i just wanted to know if any one has had this problem, knows what a vaccume distributor is or knows what the problem could be? any help at all would be great... sorry about the spelling

 

was the little hose at the back of your engine by the intake manifold and oil filter?

 

no it was one of the wires near my transmission wiring in the back left hand side of the engine bay i looked at the chart under the hood and it was labeled vacuum distributor and i dont think pluging it in fixed my problem its still acting funny so im going to take it to the dealership and see if they can run a diagnostic
