Default 2004, C220 CDI Power Loss.

My C220 CDI starts and runs perfectly and then loses power, when I switch off the ignition and then switch on again it starts and runs normally again. Has anyone got any info on what the problem is and how to correct this problem.

Had the same issue on a C270 CDI. After an extensive workout on all the problems it was found that the flaps on the inlet Manufault was faulty. Took them out of the equasion and all problems was fixed. Just search manufault flaps on a c270 cdi on this forum for a possible remedy..
