Mercedes c180 handbrake light.
 

I have 1996 Mercedes c180. When i turn the key a bit all the lights come up on the dashboard including the handbrake light, but when i start the car the light would go away even though the handbrake is still on. Any reasons as why this is?

This don't really bother me that much but just wondering why its like that :P
