Merc. C 240 Windshield Wiper issue
 

Hello,

I own a 2003 M. C240 and everything runs and functions smoothly. However, I took it thru a car washyesterdayand when driving out forgot tp turn ofthe winshield wipers, the blower at the end of the carwash is quite powerful and my wipers stopped in the middle of my windshield.
NOTE: they operate conventionaly but its as though the original position was changed to the middle of my windshield.

I have taken them off and tried to place them into the correct position but when replace them, they return to the same position (middle of the windshield)

Has anyone had this problem, and if so how would I go about fixing it. Also is this something I can do on my own and how much would it cost?

you need a wiper motor. if you took off the arms and then put them back on and it still parks wrong you need a motor. dealer might charge 2 hours labor to install motor.

I have a c240 2004 wipers do not come on at all , checked all fuses ok. new motor or something else?

something else could be wipers ON/OFF relay

This is a useless comment, but I find it amusing that your wipers are stuck in the "touring car" position. Looks good.
