I just purchased yesterday my 2009 C300 and after I left the dealership the Left SRS red light came on the dashboard. This was just after 1 KM. Is this safe to drive it like this? Is it something I could do, because today is Saturday and the service is closed and tomorrow too. Please help

 

normally the passenger side air bag can be turned on or off it should be in the glove box a small slot to put your key in it may just be lose etc or need half a turn if not take it straight back it should be ok to drive when light comes on its just saying that the air bag is turned off

 

My srs light for the passenger airbag has been on for two years. My friend who owned the car before and had merc check it could not put light out but they said there are no signs to say that the passenger air bag would not work so all ok. Best get checked when you can though; has not affected me driving it but obviously I am not advising driving yours before getting it checked by a professional. Good luck
