Knocked out side mirror assembly
 

It seems that someone who doesn't know how to park ripped out the entire right hand (passenger) side mirror assembly. I went on the net and found the replacement mirror part, but it does not come with a body.

Does anyone know where I can find the body as well or does it have to be painted by a shop?

The car is a MB 1999 C-280 in a yellow/silver color.

have you try checking in with MB part dept? I belive all comes in a primer color you have to body match it..

I have seen the mirror part ($108ish), mirror plus motor ($500ish installed at a big city dealer) and the part number for the case but I have not seen any indication the cover comes pre painted. Check with your dealer and then consider buying the cover from a car recycler/junkyard. That smoke silver was a very common color for that year.
