17 year old Benz with 109,000 on it. Anyway anything I should be aware of? Maybe you could help this Noob Benz owner out.

great little cars, i love mine.

what setup do you have? engine, tranny, etc? that will help us to tell you what to look out for.

 

Without knowing the car that well, I just bought it today. Anyway its a two tone C 190 109,XXX miles. All leather interior is perfect, and I only paid 2,000 dollars for it. It has the 2.6 engine and a 3 speed automatic.


The only thing that real concerns me besides repaid cost on a euro, is the suspension in the front looks a little soft or sloppy. It rocks after you push down on the front a little. Anyway I got a ton of paper work with the vehicle and it shows it past a state emission test just recently with a 103,000 miles so I don't suspect anything to bad from the drive train or that engine. I know the car needs new tires.

So anyway what tires doyou recommend? I was trying to keep practical purpose in mind with a semi sport look. No balloon tires please. And how much would suspension run you for standard and should you replace all four shocks/struts or just the fronts. The fronts really seem to be blasted.

Well I just bought it sorry I'll post in E Class

 

Good guessesIt's a 190e and it was the return of the C-Class model along with the 190d (diesel). The 300 was the E-Class.

Anywhere from 600-800 depending what you get. Most guys would probably suggest bilsteins

Anyway my main car is an Accord which has 117,000 on it and runs great.


Well my whole point is I don't like to spend a lot of money on personal property, I tend to invest my money in real property, like real estate.


But anyway I really am into my 190E
