My hood insulation was getting pretty droopy in the last couple of years. The little plastic mushrooms weren't really doing the job any more and the liner had gotten pretty delicate.

So I grabbed a roll of galvanized wire and went to work.



It's not factory looking, but it hasn't so much as bent a corner in the year it's been in there.

Next time I'll try to make a big Mercedes emblem with the wire, but my macrame skills are poor...
