I feel dumb for asking this. When I pick my son up from school I have to manually unlock the door so that he can get in. I looked in the owners manual in order to locate an unlock button but there isn't any information on it. I don't want to have to shut the car off just so he can get in on the opposite side. Can someone help me out?

 

I don't know what year car you have, but for my 2000 C280, there is a button on the dask above the radio that has the picture of a door on it. You press that button. (It's next to the tracking control, tow hook, and read headrest buttons)

Thanks I found it and it evedently does not work b/c I tried that button..to the shop it goes..ugh already. Thanks everyone for the quick reply.

 

Alternate procedure.
You open the driver's door and all the door locks, both front and back, get released.
That is how the central locking system works unless you have programed it otherwise.
