I just bought this car. I have a 2002 C240. When I start the car it says License plate L,R and underneath it says check lamp? And when I turn off the car it says 2 faults. Whats the problem? I did put on the license plate on. But it still says it. Anyone know what the problem is?

 

if you replaced the bulbs..with the correct wattage...and you replaced both of them ....you sometimes need to cycle off the key and then turn it back on then the message will go away.

 

Our '02 C240 displayed this message and was fixed under warranty by our dealer. I think it was the subject of a Technical Service Bulletin.
