i prefer to do as much of my own maintenance as possible on all the cars i own. well i've checked all the fluids on my gal's benz (2006 c230), but i didnt see where the air filter/filters was/were contained (the two air ducts were directed up under the center plastic engine shroud).. since all these little german cars are made for folks who take their cars in to get a bulb replaced, there seems to be nothing in the manual, or even the internet, that gives simple instructions on how to check the air filter, without breaking any plastic retainers/parts.. i'm new to the benz world, so i could use a jumpstart.. thanks
