Does anyone know how to remove the engine air cleaner compartment (I mean where you put the filter) on 2002 C230K? thanks

You will find the air filter element inside the rectangular shaped black "box" just to the right of the top of the engine (if you are standing facing the engine with the hood open). You will only need a torx head socket to take a few screws loose to lift the cover off. You won't have to take them all the way out. You will see a "cone" shaped filter inside the box. Lift it up and out and take the time to clean the box out with a vacuum while you're in there. When you put the new filter in, put the open round side in first, then push the rubber piece that holds it into the slot in the box. Simple. Then put the cover back on and tighten the screws, but not so tight that you will strip the threads. That's it.
