Elictric malfunction in 1999 C280
Hi,
I have a 1999 C280. About 2 months ago i was driving home in a rain and all of a sudden horn on my car beeped, windshield washer squirted the water, wipers came on, the hazard lights flashed, and my stereo went dead with very deep sound( sounds like just Bass is Working ) coming from only the rear speakers. After this insident stereo is not working right with sound coming from only back speakers and every ten minutes or so my car would repeat the above circle again. Specially in rain or snow it dose this allot. Because of this my rear defogger is not working and the button for central locking system on the Dash is not working either. I took this to two Different Dealers around here and one said it seems water is getting where it should not be. and other said car needs a new computer.
Dose anyone Know what could be causing these problems. I do most of work on my cars my self but this is beyond my reach to figure out whats going on. please Help Thank you.
