Dust boot on driveshaft?
Hey fellas,
on my way up to Orlando my car stated making this terrible flapping noise that sped up or slowed down as the car did.
it turned out to be a tranny/ driveline dust boot that had broken and a piece got caught on the shaft making that flapping noise.
what is this dustboot all about? is it terribly nessesary to replace?
thanks for your input.
