Dragging brakes

I am seeking for an answer to my unusual problem. My car is a 2008 C300 with about 80,000 miles. The rear brakes do not release after using the brake for a few second. After releasing the pedal, I feel the brakes are still rubbing. My rotors are wearing and the pads are getting thinner. I have showed it to several MB shops. So far I have paid or cleaning the calipers and pins, checking the calipers, lines and emergency brake , replaced the fluid, and computer setting!!??? The problem is still there. No codes, no lights, no pulling to left or right, no loss of fluid, and the brake pedal is firm and acts normal.

I am being asked to start replacing calipers and master cylinder and brake lines. This can add up to a big number but I am loosing my rotors and pads.

Any ideas, suggestion or advice will greatly be appreciated.

Thank you for sending me the process. I took the car to the shop and asked them to follow the process. We could not get the brakes to stick long enough to follow the test process. By the time they got out of the car to start the spin the brakes were released.

Today I felt the brake pedal was hard to press down. After a few pumping it felt right again. I am leaning more towards a master cylander problem. A few weeks ago when I called Mercedes dealership to get the price for one they told me they have to order it since they hardly go bad.!!!
