Default Doors/Lock remote problem on C240

Hi, i have a C240 2003 and i had to swapp engine last week. I disconnected battery from positive and negative cable to do the swapp ... Since i did that, my remote trunk/doorlock/unluck doesnt work. There is no light flashing when i click in any button ...

I verified all fuse and all of them seem ok ... I aslo try to change battery and still not work. I tryed with 2 remotes and they not working.

HELPPPPPPPPP

Thank you very much.

But I verified and all fuses seems ok. And if it's a fuse, could it make the light on remote not working ??

Thanks

if the light on the remote doesnt work than you might need to adjust the contacts that the batteries sit in..remove the batteries and bend the contacts down with a pocket screwdricer or similar device. the remotes are known for ****ty contact.if the remote light doesnt work then you got a bad remote. also if you have a camera phone point the top of the remote to the camera and see if you see some light inside while pushing unlock or lock. this is your infared signal. other than that you could have a bad remote.
you say the little red light on the remotes dont work? both of them? or you mean the lights that flash on the car for the lock, unlock confirmation?
