Differences between C240 vs C280??

I am undecided between buying a 2005 C240W4 and a 2006 C280 4MATIC. The price difference is about 3k. Can someone tell me what are the differences between the 2 cars besides year and horsepower? Would you spend the extra $$ for the 2006?

Thanks for your help!

RE: Differences between C240 vs C280??

I dont know how accurate my statement really is but the reason why I chose my c230 over a c240, is because in the newer c-class models, the c240 has the least comfortable interior of the others. But I would need someone to truly back me up on that one.

The C240 has a smaller engine than the 280 (3.0 L). Rims are different and the 280 4-Matic has an all-wheel drive system. The front bumper (and maybe the rear) are redesigned on the new 280s, giving it an updated look. Not sure, but I'm guessing some options on the 240 are standard on the 280. Check out mbusa.com

The price difference is about 3k.
With out discussing the model differences, the 2006 is worth $3K more than the 2005 simply because of depreciation. If I liked both cars, I'd pick the 2006 w/o a doubt.
