First of all, HI to everyone. Just found this forum with a search on yahoo.

I dont know how many of you have seen this (or is a current member of mbworld.org), I have made many of these aluminum door pin surrounds for fellows on the board. They fit perfect and replace the stock ugly rubber piece. Similar surrounds can be found from formymercedes.com, but whats the difference? Mine is all polished, laser etched with just about anything you want to put on. People have ordered to put their real names, initials, forum usernames, "Mercedes-Benz", "Kompressor", "Brabus Coupe", etc..etc. Those with Brabus pins have never complained about rattling....the installation wont take any longer than 5 mins. Very easy to do with literally no tools needed...I will include a simple instruction when you order.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a "door pin surround?"

I can't see where anything like that would fit on my car. Must not be for all cars. Can't tell, though. They look like the washers I put in my sink faucets.

 

They fit current C/E/CLK...and I dont think they will fit your SL.
