Aloha,

I have a '01 C240. Everytime I start the car there's a clicking sound for about 30 seconds.The clicking seems like it'scoming from the car stereo deck.

I have the slightest idea of what this could be. If anyone knows what might be the problem and how I could fix it, please reply? That would be much appreciated.

it's the heater vent arm. They have a small arm that operates the vent dorms and they crack on the motor end. The clicking is the motor spinning in the arm. Do a search and there's a How-To on fixing them however it take a full day to do it. If you take it to the dealer is about $900, the part is about $12.
