Cleaning Tan Leather seats (sorry for repost) but pls
 

I have 2002 C240, its interiors are in mint condition but I have some black dirt spots on the seats. I have tried some expensive products but no use. I want to know the main thing is "How to scrub the dirt of the leather". I use some conditioner cleaner bought from Target in a browm bottel for about 15 $. But it is available in walmart and miejer.

But with that nothing happens, just smells goods, I wonder if it the conditioner is not strong orI am not using is correctly.

I tried scrubbing it pretty hard, it gets cleaned but If I do that amount of scrubbing with simple tap water ....the dirt wud go away. Seats have become a bit blackish , not noticable .. but certainly dont look as new as they were.

Is there any other thing which can clean seats easily without putting so much effort of scrubbing. I can hardly clean 10 cmpart of the seat before I get tired of scrubbing. It takes me around 20 minutes to clean just that 10 cm base of the seat. Do I need to use some special scrub ? Some technique ! People here are often saying that they cleaned their car with this liquid or that liquid and it looks new. I wonder do they clean for whole day or with some machine ? Coz my hand starts hurting after 20 minutes of continious scrubbing

I know it is a repost but admin pls keep this post alive as I did'nt get a response last time. Someone pls guide me what , how to do it.

The seats looks clean but if I take a close look onthe skins marks (finger prints sort of grooves) they are black. :(

Well I have the product for you; but it comes with a Warning!
It DOES clean and cleans quite effectively.
But you must use it gently.

Its Mr. Cleans "Miracle Eraser"
It will clean your Steering Wheel, Floor Boards, Seat Belt, Leather Seats and all Leather.

But you must immediately follow it up with Leather CONDITIONER

Its strong and guaranteed to clean.

Do I need to use anything with that sponge or will this sponge do the magic ... Anyone else tried it ? I dont want to end up with cracked leather or something like that

I used OOPS, it's a latex paint, gum remover. Used it on the dark/black merks that you can get on the plastic side sills and the seats, must try on hided area, then if used, you must use just enough to get rid of the mark then re use the cleaner and then the conditioner. I also have a 2002 240 with the light tan/ sand interior. Keep it spotless for the wife....

also note: try not to let the drivers seat get visble soiled or it will be harder to keep lean....

it very simple to clean just get powder soap speacially the one you use to wash your clothe and with a claen teashue just rove it. I never use special products

Will be trying a washing detergent this weekend and then use conditioner ...
